KARMA

KARMA  NEEDS A HOME!  This girl has lost her human mom to cancer and is in need of a new loving home.  She has been loved for her whole 8 years from puppyhood til now, and it shows.  She’s very sweet, very interested in what’s going on, loves walks and rides in the car.  She’s lived with another Dane and gets along great with other dogs and cats.  Loves people!  She’s a happy, waggy girl who wants to be included in whatever you are doing.  Karma loves camping and fishing and doing whatever you enjoy doing. She also loves to cuddle with you on the sofa.   She has excellent house manners and fits in anywhere.  She has been thoroughly vetted and cleared for adoption.  She is now on thyroid medication (very inexpensive), which is sure to have helped her already lose more than 30 pounds in 5 weeks!  Yes.  It’s true!  She was very heavy and she has a few more to pounds to lose to get her figure back but she’ll do it.  And in another month will probably have her waist line back.  Please email or call for more information about this adorable girl who is ready to love like she has been loved all her life.

UPDATE FOR KARMA….Our Karma girl has been vetted, has been found to be thyroid deficient and is on much needed thyroid medication (inexpensive meds given daily).  She has been in a great foster home who has welcomed her with open hearts and a really comfy couch!  She was very much over weight (by about 50 pounds), some of which was caused by the thyroid condition.  In the first week she lost 10 pounds and has probably lost a bunch more now.  She is walking 2 or 3 times a day, short blocks, but moving well.  And she’s getting a waist line, according to her proud fosters.  She went with them to “camp” for several days and met other dogs and bunches of wonderful people.  She loves camping now!!  She’s happy and waggy and meets you at the door with such all over happiness!  We are now looking for that special home that wants a great companion for walking and couch sitting and any other cool activities.  She walks on leash like a dream and everyone she meets is a friend.  She’s adorable and loving, and she easily puts a smile on anyone’s face with her sweetness.  Please contact via email skipandmidge@att.net and/or 817-439-1777 for more information about this great girl.  More pictures coming of Karma soon.

URGENT!  Two wonderful 8 year old Danes have lost their human mom to a very aggressive illness.  They have been fed by family members who travel to the house once a day to feed them and check on the empty house.  The houe is about to be turned over to the landlord and the dogs must be out.  We have met both of these adorable, loving dogs, who met us with wags, no barks, welcoming us like they knew us.  They seem mellow in temperament, seem very affectionate and interested in people.  They have lived with other pets for 8 years, have been taken care of well, kept inside and loved, and the love shows in these two.  Biggles is a very handsome harlequin boy who is big and goofy.  Harmony is smaller and is a sweet blue merle girl who loves being touched and loved on.

We urgently need someone to open their heart and home either temporarily or permanently (we hope).  Temporary is what we need to get them transitioned, and getting back to normal living.  We need to have them thoroughly vetted but we need help with a home first.  They are overweight but seem fit and not problematic.

Many of us have had 8 year old Danes who could outrun many youngsters, and have gone on to live many years more, vibrant and in good health.  So we hope to find folks that are not deterred by age.  Please see our pictures and at least spread the word to dog loving friends that might be interested in helping us to help them.
