SHAMAN
This is a HUGE 9 month old
puppy! He is 115 very tightly packed pounds, not fat at
all, not skinny, just right. Just big. As can hopefully be
seen by his pictures, he is actually a handsome Harlequin
with some merle highlights. :-) He is fearless and
confident, very agile...not puppy-clumsy. Though...as an
afterthought, he might bounce something off the coffee table
as he streaks by. He LOVES playing, whether with other dogs
or with people. He has reportedly been around kids of all
ages and likes them. He has been good with the resident
cat, who usually tells us if a dog might be a problem, and
she met him nose to nose several times. :-) He sits on
command, does a down, does a hand/paw shake and will come
when called. He walks nicely on leash. Shaman is
interested in meeting everyone and has shown that no one is
a stranger. He's waggy at everyone. He is quite nosy about
everything and is showing a nice puppy inquisitiveness and
attitude. It might be important and interesting to note
that when this oversized puppy begins his all-out happy
zoomies around the yard, he may forget to go around anyone
standing in his way. :-) So, it will be advisable that he
go to a home with no little kids, though he likes them. He
appears to be very trainable and willing, has a nice open
attitude, allows touching all over, including his feet and
mouth, and will probably make a great Obedience candidate
for someone wanting to have fun with a handsome youngster.
Shaman is 9 months old, very sweet, people loving, gets along with dogs. He was living in an apartment and had good manners. But the apartment complex decided dogs are ok but Great Danes are not. (Not a new attitude) His size scared the neighbors so they complained and got him evicted. He is a handsome merle, and has been loved and given good care from the time he was brought home as a young puppy. He is a kissy boy, and gives affectionate lap hugs. :-) More info will be posted by his foster home.
