GRACIE
This is GRACIE. She is a 5
1/2 month old fawn colored puppy. She escaped some
terrible place in which it seems she got attacked by
other dogs and bitten and scarred. Her coat was filthy
and smelled like an outside dog. Her front and back
feet are flat and it is obvious she was not getting good
nutrition. She is still a little bit clumsy, not
entirely sure of herself yet, but gets tickled about
things, and tries to do little zoomies in the house.
:-) She responds very well and is learning lots of
stuff she didn't know before. She didn't even know how
to go out and come in a door. Mirrors intrigue her.
:-) She didn't know if the resident dogs were going to
attack her or not, so she assumed they would. After
finding out they were friendly, she fit herself right in
and latched onto the humans, snuggling up on the couch
every time anybody sat down. She didn't know how to
play with the dogs but began to be interested. It is so
sad that a little puppy this age has to have had bad
experiences so young and already have cut ears and bites
and scars on her body! But she is a learnin' girl now
and on her way to bigger and better things in life. She
rides in the car like a dream, and loves to go for
walks. Gracie is a very sweet girl who wants to please
and will most definitely make everyone who meets her
feel very lucky to know her.
