This is HATCHER!
A few years ago, he was one of 3 puppies, Huey, Dewey and Louie (their names back then), who came into rescue with their mom, Duchess.  He was adopted as a puppy in 2001 and has been with his original adoptive family ever since.  He has been cared for in all ways, loved by all and treated as a respected family member, and has been a wonderful happy boy all these years.  His trouble today is that his family is in a difficult financial situation with jobs lost, and they are sadly not able to give him the care he deserves.
He has been good with other dogs, good with all aged people, including kids, healthy, happy and waggy all the time.  He helped raise the one year old and 4 year old kids in the house!  He has excellent house manners, is responsive when spoken to, sits, downs, and comes when told, and is good on leash walks.  He is very loving and likes to give hugs, with your permission.  He has become a wonderful example of his breed and will need a home who is ready for a very good dog.  The puppy in one of the pictures is him when he came to our rescue.  :-)  He seems to have gotten prematurely gray, much like some human individuals can get, but he looks and acts great and is very much vibrant and ready for anything.   :-)
