PHOEBE.  She is a black pretty female of maybe 2 years of age or less.  She came in with Kayne in very poor condition, with internal parasites, rough hair, calluses, and very scared and bewildered.  She is much more shy than Kahne and tucks her tail a lot.  She is getting along well with the other 3 dogs in her foster home and even snuggles with them on the couch.  She is a quick learner, understands the word 'no', and is doing well learning to be crate trained.  She loves her foster folks and responds with leans and hugs.  Her foster home is very pleased with her progress in learning all the new things she is experiencing and her ability to 'fit in' with the resident 'group'.  More updates to come soon....

Additional foster info....Phoebie has decided her crate is a wonderful place and will lounge voluntarily in it on her comfy bed and snuggle with her blankies with the crate door open.  She gets along great with all the resident dogs and seems to take some confidence in having other pooches around.  But she clearly prefers the company of her "people".  Leash training is coming along well though at first it was obvious that she had no idea what it was all about.  She is a smart kid and is catching on fast. She was so timid and scared at first but she's getting over that nicely, responding so well to TLC.  She is a very, very lovable girl who has quickly developed into a snuggly couch potato companion - a very natural Dane-like characteristic.  :-)
