is a fawn male with a black mask and is about 4 months old.  He has already been the victim of severe neglect in his short little life.  His previous owners turned him in to animal control because they couldn't afford to feed him!!!  He is skin and bones and has internal parasites.  Thankfully, the shelter kept him isolated from other dogs and, due to that fact, very likely kept him from contracting the Parvo virus which could have easily killed this malnourished baby!!  He is a lover and is very responsive in his foster home.  He is beginning to fill out and is happy to be in a loving home where he can depend on getting quality nutrition regularly.  Although, he still eats like the next meal isn't coming for a long time!  Dempsey is learning that the world is a nice place after all and is beginning to thrive.  He is learning housetraining, doing well in his crate and has even begun to learn some basic obedience!  He is a calm, snuggly and affectionate little guy who is ready to be rewarded with a loving home he so richly deserves.
